Established by Dr Burkhardt (Natalie) in 2009, with the motivation to provide the Far North with a modern patient focused dental practice. Doubtless Bay Dental strives to provide friendly ‘Pain-less’ dentistry. Dr Burkhardt has a drive to see that you are provided  with the most cost effective and appropriate dental plan options available. This is able to be achieved through extensive and ongoing professional development since first graduating from Otago University (2004) with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Dr Burkhardt has completed a post-graduate Diploma in Periodontology (gum disease) as she has identified a need in the community.

Chris qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2001 (UK).  He left the UK in October 2016 to bring his dental skills and knowledge to Northland, where he lives with his partner, young son, and two dogs.

Chris has considerable experience with treating anxious and dental phobic patients and enjoys being able to work with, understand and develop confidence by delivering quality dental care for those who fear dental environments. In addition to completing a Diploma in Conscious Sedation in 2009, Chris is a recognised member of the New Zealand Society for Sedation in Dentistry.

Working with the dental team at Northland District Health Board, Chris is skilled with providing care for those medically compromised and require special care and assistance.

With a focus on prevention, Chris provides a full range of dental treatment including crowns and bridges, endodontics, and restorations. Striving to deliver positive, caring, and painless treatment, Chris goes above and beyond to ensure you always feel comfortable during your appointment.

In his spare time, Chris like to spend time with his family, take trips to the beautiful Northland beaches, read and relax, and he has just started to learn to sail!
